Showplace Leading Rider Series - Announcement
New for 2010 the Jumper classics at Ledges Fall Classic August 19 - 22 and the Showplace  Fall Festival September 2-5 will count towards the Showplace Leading Rider Series standings in all sections except Open Jumper. All eligible Hunter divisions will also earn points.

Kelley Farmer and Listen Top $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby at Tapestry Farm
Kelley Farmer and ListenBristol, WI – July 16, 2010 – Showplace Productions produced a beautiful derby day at Tapestry Farm in Bristol, WI, this weekend following the completion of its Showplace Summertime Horse Show. Tapestry Farm owners Clay and Donna Struve welcomed many of the country’s top horses and riders to their scenic farm for a day full of exceptional competition and hospitality for all to benefit the USHJA Horseman’s Assistance Fund. Professional hunter rider Kelley Farmer had a great day in Bristol, finishing first and second in both the $5,000 USHJA 3’ Hunter Derby and the $25,000 Chronicle of the Horse/USHJA International Hunter Derby with her fantastic horses. Lisa Goldman also earned a one-two finish showing in the $10,000 Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Speed Derby with her top mounts.

YB Blue and Nick Novak Triumph in $30,000 Showplace Productions Grand Prix III

Showplace Challenge Cup Concludes with Wins for Ashley Reed, Alissa Kinsey, and Dana Waters

YB Blue and Nick NovakWayne, IL – June, 23, 2010 – The 2010 Showplace Spring Spectacular Horse Show Series concluded its third and final week of competition this afternoon at the scenic Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, IL. The exciting $100,000 Showplace Challenge Cup completed its final three divisions with wins going to Dana Waters riding Biloxi in the $10,000 Low Junior/AO Finals, Alissa Kinsey riding Grisset in the $10,000 NAL Child/Adult Finals, and Ashley Reed riding Madonna in the $4,000 Modified Child/Adult Finals. The day wrapped up with a fantastic $30,000 Showplace Grand Prix victory for Nick Novak and YB Blue.

Showplace Spring Spectacular Series Recognizes 2010 Sponsors Part III

Morocco and Lisa Goldman Conquer $15,000 High Junior/Amateur Finals and Challenge Cup Series
Lisa Goodman and MoroccoWayne, IL – June 22, 2010 – For the last two days at the Showplace Spring Spectacular III, jumper riders have competed in the unprecedented $100,000 Showplace Challenge Cup Series. The Challenge Cup, taking place in the Grand Prix ring at the Lamplight Equestrian Center, featured a world cup format where jumper competitors entered three phases that were pinned independently. Faults incurred during only the first round of each of these classes counted towards rider standings, and carried forward to determine the order of go for the championships. Riders were able to post additional NAL, M &S, and WIHS points during the Showplace Spring Spectacular III.

$100,000 Showplace Challenge Cup Kicks Off with Round One Wins for Nelson, Haas, and Reed
Gabriella Z and Erin NelsonWayne, IL – June 21, 2010 – The Showplace Spring Spectacular III began on Monday morning with the first of three rounds of competition in the brand new $100,000 Showplace Challenge Cup Series. The Challenge Cup features a unique new world cup format, multi-phase event for the jumpers. The phases of the Challenge Cup are pinned independently and riders are able to post additional NAL, M&S, and WIHS points to supplement their winnings from Spectacular I & II. Three qualifying classes will be held at the beginning of the week leading up to the Challenge Cup Finals on Tuesday and Wednesday. Faults incurred during only the first round of each of these classes will count towards rider standings, and will carry forward to determine the order of go for the championships. All classes will be held in Lamplight’s expansive Grand Prix ring, which features new footing for 2010.
